Jacana Camp Activities

20% Game Drives and 80% Water Activities (dependant on flood levels & time of year)

• Water-based game viewing in 6 x 2-seater mokoros (a traditional dug-out canoe)

• Boating trips in 1 x 12-seater and 1 x 7-seater boats in the waterways to the east of Camp

• Fishing with a limited supply of basic equipment is on offer seasonally - catch and release basis

• A raised hide located about 20 minutes from camp (which can be used for sleep outs - maximum 6 people at a time - and is equipped with a long-drop loo)

• Land-based game drives in 2 x 10-seater open 4x4 Land Rover accommodating a maximum of seven guests thus allowing all guests an outside seat

• Private activities available on request
