Spirit of Tsitsikamma

Located in the heart of Tsitsikamma National Park, the “Spirit of Tsitsikamma” Boat Operation on the Storms River, offers an unforgettable cruise experience. Operated by SANParks from the Storms River Mouth Rest Camp, this boat cruise allows travelers to explore the otherwise inaccessible Storms River Gorge. Visitors can marvel at the huge caverns, some extending upwards for 20 meters, which provide a habitat for rare bat species. The “Spirit of Tsitsikamma” accommodates groups of up to 22 and runs every 45 minutes. Departing from the old jetty below the suspension bridge, the cruise is accessible after a half-hour walk along the scenic 800m Mouth Trail, which winds through coastal forest and ends at the suspension bridge below the Khoisan Cave.
