Cheetah Outreach Cub Walks

Cheetah Outreach is situated on Heartland’s Paardevlei property, near the Somerset Mall. Cheetah Outreach Cub Walks are seasonal, and the schedule varies from week to week. Walks normally start at 08h00, lasting from 45 minutes to an hour, followed by an encounter with the cubs with a maximum of 4 people per walk.

Guests will have the opportunity to walk along and take photos while the handlers take the cubs for a walk around the facility grounds at Paardevlei. Handlers will at all times have control of the leads and no guests will be allowed to walk a cub themselves due to safety protocol. When and if the cubs settle, and at the discretion of the handlers, guests may have the opportunity to stroke the cubs while on the walk.
