Hartleyvale Stadium

Hartleyvale Stadium, located in Observatory, Cape Town, is a premier field hockey venue in South Africa. Visitors can watch local and international hockey matches or participate in sporting events on its two astroturf fields. Originally a football ground, the stadium was redeveloped in 1996 to support South Africa’s Olympic bid and has since earned architectural accolades, including the SAIA Award of Merit and Award of Excellence. It also serves as a voting station during elections and houses the Western Province Hockey Union.
