AW - Lions Head Hike

Take on an exciting hike up Lion’s Head, one of Cape Town’s most famous peaks. This 2.5 to 3-hour guided hike offers stunning panoramic views and thrilling rock scrambles.

Starting with a gradual ascent, the trail provides breathtaking views of Camps Bay, the Twelve Apostles, Robben Island, Sea Point, and the City Bowl. The hike then progresses into steeper terrain, leading to the famous ladder section, where you’ll ascend using steel rungs and chains embedded in the rock. Once past the technical sections, a final scramble over natural rock steps brings you to the summit, where unparalleled views and a sense of achievement await.

On the descent, instead of retracing the ladder section, we’ll take a less exposed alternative route, ensuring a comfortable and scenic way down.
