Andulela African Cooking Safari

The Andulela African Cooking Safari provides guests with a unique opportunity to interact with the locals of the vibrant township of Langa. Guests meet at 09h00 daily at the Gugu S'thebe Cultural Centre in Langa. The tour includes a guided 1-hour visit through parts of the Langa Township, with the accredited guide focussing on food and cultural traditions while offering insights into the everyday lives of the people.

The highlight of the tour is the natural interaction at the fun-filled cooking session held in a local family's home. The hands-on cooking and demonstration take approximately 90 minutes. Thereafter guests sit back, chat, relax and share a typical local meal with the hosts. Beverages and a small gift pack of recipes are included.
