Sossusfly Fascinating Damaraland

The Sossusfly Fascinating Damaraland is a flight that gives visitors the opportunity to experience a birds-eye view of the most spectacular scenery of the Namib Desert. After departing from Swakopmund the flight turns north over an ever-changing landscape and flies past the Omaruru dam and game park, and the Messum crater. The flight gets a bit higher flying up to the Brandberg, with its fantastic colours of sediment layers being a highlight of the trip, then down along the Ugab valley, past the dry riverbeds of Damaraland. Turning south the route goes past the Ugab river, two shipwrecks, Cape Cross, over Lichtenfields, past another shipwreck and then back to Swakopmund.
