Charly's Minerals Tour

For those interested in minerals, this four-hour long tour comes highly recommended. On this tour, visitors will discover and explore the mineral treasures of the Namib.

First, a marble quarry where beautiful minerals are found is visited and then the group will proceed to an old lead mine and to the Rössing Mountain.

Apart from minerals, visitors will discover geological and botanical wonders in the Namib Desert. The area around Swakopmund offers several different minerals and semi-precious stones, such as rose quartz, aragonite, chalcedony, jasper, carnelian, and mica.
