African Bush Bird Skeleton Coast Uniab River

The Skeleton Coast Uniab River Tour by African Bush Bird Tours includes a low-level flight along the Swakop riverbed via the “Moonlandscape” crossing the Oasis Goanikontes. The route continues to the Rössing Uranium mine along the Khan River and passes over the Spitzkoppe, the Brandberg, Twyfelfontein, the Damaraland Table Top Mountains, and Palmwag from where it follows the Uniab Riverbed in search of desert elephants, rhinos, giraffes, mountain zebras and other game.

From here, the plane flies over the treacherous Skeleton Coast, past Torra Bay, Palgrave point, and Toscanini to Cape Cross seal reserve where it continues along the coast from Cape Cross, passing Henties Bay and the salt works north of Swakopmund on the way back to Swakopmund.
