African Adventure Balloons

African Adventure Balloons is located in Swakopmund, Namibia, a small town nestled between the Atlantic Ocean on the one side and the stark but fascinating Namib Desert on the other. This combination is the perfect venue to enjoy the exhilaration of man's first form of flight and provides for exquisite views of the Namib Desert.

The balloon will launch well beyond the coastal mist belt or if weather permits, behind the dune belt. It's cold in the desert so you need a warm jacket and a hat or cap. Your pilot/host, Anne-lu van Vuuren, has several years balloon flying experience. A short briefing gets everyone up to date on what to expect, how to react and what to do on take off and landings. After the flight, you will be whisked away by your host for a champagne breakfast in the sunshine, reliving the experience of man's first form of flight.
