A Walk Through Swakopmund’s History

Swakopmund is best explored on foot and a local guide will show visitors historic buildings on an approximately 2-hour walking tour through Swakopmund. The tour is filled with interesting material and stories of historic Swakopmund, the German settlement and charming town on the coast of the Atlantic.

The meeting point is the Swakopmund Museum, located near the “Mole” at the central beach, nearly the exact spot where the history of Swakopmund began.
