Mashi River Safaris 2 night floodplain/park special

Mashi River Safaris offers a 2-night floodplain/park special in Namibia. Travellers will depart from Mavunje camp mid-morning and cruise downriver to Njazanga island. During the journey, travellers can enjoy a packed lunch on the river, including wine and beers. Travellers will arrive at the island mid-afternoon to pitch camp. After snacks and refreshments, travellers may go on an afternoon walk around the island or participate in an afternoon game cruise. Dinner on the island is prepared on an open fire, including wine and beers. In the morning, travellers can enjoy coffee and rusks, followed by an activity of the client’s choice. Travellers will return to camp around 9.00 am for a full cooked breakfast before packing up camp to begin the cruise upriver toward campsite 2. On route, travellers will have the opportunity to enjoy swimming, birding, game viewing, and fishing. Travellers will arrive at camp two mid-afternoon and pitch tents. Lunch will be served, followed by a game cruise with sundowner drinks. Travellers will return to camp for an evening meal cooked on an open fire. In the morning, travellers can enjoy coffee and rusks, followed by an early boat cruise. Travellers will then return to camp for a full breakfast before breaking camp and departing for Mavunje camp.
