Mashi River Safaris 1 night floodplain special

Mashi River Safaris offers a 1-night floodplain special in Namibia. Travellers will depart from Mavunje camp mid-morning and cruise downriver to Njazanga island, taking in Bwabwata NP. During the journey, travellers can enjoy a packed lunch on the river, including wine and beers. Travellers will arrive at the island mid-afternoon to pitch camp. After snacks and refreshments, travellers may go on an afternoon walk around the island or participate in an afternoon game cruise. Dinner on the island is prepared on an open fire, including wine and beers. In the morning, travellers can enjoy coffee and rusks, followed by an activity of the client’s choice. Travellers will return to camp around 9.00 am for a full cooked breakfast. At lunchtime, travellers will pack up camp and begin the cruise back upriver toward Mavunje camp.
