About Manawa Whale Watching on the West Coast of Mauritius

The Dolswim crew will meet visitors at La Jetée Road in Rivière Noire, southwest Mauritius. Breakfast will be offered with tea, coffee, juice, water, croissants, pain au chocolat and fresh fruit. Visitors will then board the fishing boat, and the skippers will give them a briefing about the half-day activity. It will be based on the types of whales visitors will encounter and their habits, the regulations to be followed for their well-being and the safety measures on the boat. And then it's off for a 3-hour sea excursion in the Indian Ocean to meet these incredible marine mammals. In Mauritius, two types of whales are visible: humpback whales in winter and sperm whales that live almost all year round on the island's west coast.
