About Shoestrings Backpackers
Shoestrings Backpackers offers a variety of budget-friendly accommodation options to suit different types of travellers. Mixed dorms with bunk beds, catering to solo travellers or those comfortable sharing a room. These come in both 6-bed and 10-bed configurations with access to shared ablutions. Teak and Masasa rooms with either double beds or twin beds and fan. These have En-suite bathrooms. Dome tents with two single beds and access to shared ablutions. These tents come equipped with basic amenities like bedside tables, lamps, and fans.
Whether you're a solo backpacker or a family on a budget, Shoestrings Backpackers should have something to fit your needs.
Our fully stocked and lively bar is open to all patrons, and has become one of the most popular places to meet fellow travellers and locals in town. Guests are often entertained by traditional African dancers, singers and musicians, and the bar is open daily until midnight.
Our on-site restaurant, Shoestrings Cafe, serves a varied daily breakfast, lunch and evening menu (including pizza). The restaurant is open throughout the day for sit-in meals, takeaways and even free delivery within Vic Falls town.
