The Wild Nyanga Cottages
The Mutarazi Cottages are three luxury self-catering cottages overlooking the montane forests of the Mutarazi Falls National Park in Nyanga. Conveniently located 2km away from the Mutarazi Falls, the highest waterfall in Zimbabwe and second highest in Africa.
The Pamushana Cottage has a spectacular view of Mt Nyangani. Built from Nyanga field stone this is the epitimony of a cozy Nyanga Cottage.
The Pungwe Cottages are set on the banks of the upper Pungwe River, these two little cottages provide families with a magical experience. If you love everything to do with nature, including the sound of a mountain river, birds, wildlife, and just need to get away from everything that life throws at you, then look no further.
The Cottages also offers a range of activities to suit all guests interests, such as beautiful forest walks, birdwatching or adrenaline based activities at the Mutarazi Falls.

Mutarazi Cottage
M’tarazi cottages (three in all and sleeps 6 each) are designed for families so they have twin/double upstairs with a small balcony overlooking the montane forests, ensuite bathroom and sauna (for over 16’s and the medically fit and by request so we can set it for you). Downstairs there is a small bedroom with two bunk beds and an ensuite shower. The M’tarazi Cottages are close to the Far and Wide camp where some of our team building and leadership programmes are undertaken. Please be aware of this.
There are generators for the cottage but only run the lights and geysers, not appliances.
Pamushana Cottage
Pamushana is our biggest cottage with three bedrooms each with two beds (either double or converted to two single) and two singles in the lounge area. The cottage has a magnificent view of our highest mountain Mt. Nyangani from the upstairs balcony. There is a generator here but it only runs the lights and geysers, not appliances. Please bring your own fuel for this. There is a microwave available in this cottage.
The Pungwe Self Catering
The Pungwe Drift cottages (Gecko and Wagtail) are in the National Park so you have to pay entry fees (please contact the National Parks Head Office for the updated and current rates). They have no electricity (solar fridge) and are very simple, remote ‘fishing’ cottages so suitable for those who like lots of walks in the wilderness, swims in the Pungwe river (Gecko cottage is right on the river) and trout fishing. There are two bedrooms one double and one with three single beds.
