Mana Sands is a hidden gem in a private concession on the western edge of Zimbabwe’s UNESCO-listed Mana Pools. Celebrating elite guiding and deep immersion in nature, the lodge offers two distinct experiences:

Set above a wildlife-rich pan on the edge of the Zambezi floodplain, each luxury tent at Mana Sands Main Camp offers a front-row seat to the raw beauty of Mana Pools.
Spacious and light-filled, the tents are designed for both comfort and connection with extra length super king-sized beds, hand-picked natural textures, and sweeping views that blur the line between indoors and out. Glass sliding doors open to a private deck with a plunge pool, perfect for cooling off between game drives or watching elephants wander past as the sun begins to set.
The bathrooms feature double vanities, double showers, and freestanding bathtubs that invite long soaks beneath the wide African sky. Our integrated air conditioning enclosed in our mosquito netting ensures a restful sleep even on Mana’s warmest nights.

Mana Sands Main Camp – Family Tent
Designed with space, ease, and shared moments in mind, the Family Tent at Mana Sands Main Camp offers the perfect retreat for families or small groups travelling together.
Set along the pan and fully wheelchair accessible, this spacious suite includes two separate sleeping areas — one with an extra-length super king-sized bed, the other with two three-quarter beds — divided by a solid wall for privacy and comfort.
The en-suite bathroom features double vanities, double indoor showers, and a freestanding bathtub, with wide doorways and step-free access throughout. Glass sliding doors open onto a generous private deck with a plunge pool, offering panoramic views over the floodplain — a space to gather, relax, and watch wildlife wander by.
Like all our Main Camp tents, this suite is air conditioned, with mosquito netting enclosing the sleeping area to ensure a cool and restful night. Natural textures and a calm, grounded palette reflect the wild elegance of Mana Pools, while thoughtful design touches cater to guests of all ages and abilities.

Little Mana Sands – Safari Tent
At Little Mana Sands, our safari tents are designed for travellers who value connection over clutter — to nature, to stillness, and to the rhythm of life in Mana Pools.
Each tent features an extra-length king-sized bed (or twin configuration on request), cooling ceiling fans, and canvas walls that breathe with the day. Zippered mesh windows allow for airflow and views without sacrificing privacy, while soft lighting and hand-picked natural textures keep the space calm and grounded.
The en-suite bathroom includes double vanities and a walk-in shower, with thoughtful details and just enough comfort to make you feel gently cared for.
Outside, a private deck looks onto a seasonal pan or tree-shaded floodplain — perfect for quiet wildlife moments, morning coffee, or reading between drives. While there’s no air conditioning here, the tents are naturally ventilated and shaded beneath a leafy canopy.

Little Mana Sands – Family Tent
Our Family Tents at Little Mana Sands are designed for ease, comfort, and togetherness.
Each tent features an extra-length king-sized bed and two single beds, separated by a wardrobe screen that creates gentle division while maintaining an open, airy feel. It’s an ideal setup for families travelling with younger children or groups seeking shared space without sacrificing comfort.
The en-suite bathroom includes double vanities and a walk-in shower, with mesh panels that let in soft natural light and the sounds of the bush. Cooling is provided by ceiling fans and thoughtful cross-ventilation — no air conditioning here, just the natural rhythm of Mana Pools and the breeze off the floodplain.
A shaded deck out front invites you to sit, slow down, and spot the occasional elephant wandering past the nearby seasonal pan.
