The Siding Hwange

The Siding is a project that holds a special place in Mike Johnson's heart – you could even consider it his second home given the time he spends by the campfire, admiring the leisurely strolls of elephants.

This unique location, nestled near the Gateway to Hwange National Park, with the railway running beside, and sitting beside a magnificent Rhodesian teak tree. Here, you can greet the dawn with a cup of coffee or welcome the night with a cold beverage as you watch the sunset. This eco-camp features five tranquil dome-shaped tents, including one for families, as well as three free-standing ones.

It's a self-catering camp designed for adventurous souls but still adorned with creature comforts. Named after the railway track that has passed by for decades, carrying trains from Bulawayo to Vic Falls, The Siding eagerly awaits to share its captivating story.
