Umdingi Safaris Exclusive Chizarira Mobile Camping

Walks within Zimbabwe’s fourth largest National Park otherwise known as “Home of the Hidden Gorges” says it all. A very much unexplored area of the park as it is not accessible by vehicle, guided walks will be at the epicentre of our daily routine including either half or full day activities. Exploring these areas and learning about the fauna and flora will most certainly be of interest.
The rugged Zambezi escarpment and plateaus make for great views over the valleys and flood plains below. There are a number of river and natural springs that are of interest and have also been identified as areas of interest whilst on foot, as in the dry seasons we are hopeful that these areas will be wildlife rich. Be rest assured once in the park and on foot you will not come across another person.
The Busi area of the park is roughly 3 hours from camp. Entering the little known "mini" Mana Pools, the area is both a flood plain and a huge forest drawing in huge amounts of game for these invaluable pods which are dropped by the Apple Ring Pod 'tree'.
