About Kayila Camp
Our newly opened camp in the vast 8,000 acre private conservancy of the game management area outside Lower Zambezi National Park is the perfect first stop of the exceptional Zambezi Experience. With outstanding views of the majestically towering escarpment and the tranquil river below and across to the stunning vista of Mana Pools, Kayila has it all: beautiful game in private luxury.
Led by experienced and passionate guides, guests can enjoy walks through the property from “River to Ridge” or sleep out under the stars above a watering hole to fully experience the nocturnal magic of Kayila. In addition to the safari and wildlife activities, guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture of the surrounding communities and people.
Your stay at Kayila links up with Anabezi and Amanzi camps, with a boat trip down river, stopping for an island lunch and followed by an optional canoe trip for the last few kilometres to encounter the Zambezi at its best.

Every one of our 4 chalets seamlessly blends our African roots with luxury and elegance. Each luxury chalet has its own private viewing deck and is elevated to offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape, and guarantee absolute privacy for our guests. The open-plan design of the chalets invites the cool breeze that drifts over the Zambezi, bringing the scents and sounds of the bush to you.
Our luxury chalets are built using sustainably sourced and environmentally friendly materials. The floors and walls are made of mortar, while the roof is thatched, which provides shade and offers a natural cooling effect.
Our suites are the epitome of luxury, featuring a bedroom with two Queen size beds and a spacious lounge. There's a Victorian bath with a view where you can enjoy a long luxurious soak in between exhilarating game drives. Our netted doors prevent mosquitoes and other insects from coming into your space. There's 24 hour battery power and plenty of hot and cold filtered water to ensure you don't miss out on the elite conveniences of a luxury lodge.
