Chanter's Guesthouse

Chanters Lodge, Livingstone was established in 1998 and was one of the first small lodges in Livingstone offering comfortable, affordable accommodation in quiet surroundings. We are only a 15 minute walk from Livingstone city centre, a 20 minute drive from the mighty Victoria Falls and an 8 minute drive from Livingstone International Airport. Most of the roads and sidewalks in Livingstone are in excellent condition making both walking and driving an enjoyable experience.

Chanters Lodge offers Guests a variety of rooms, all of which are self-contained and air-conditioned, with satellite TV (choice of 3 channels), refrigerators, mosquito nets and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are available on request from the staff.

There are 4 poolside double rooms (each with one double bed), located in a quiet, peaceful, lovely garden setting. These rooms have spacious bathrooms which contain a separate shower cubicle. (Two of these rooms can also accommodate an extra three quarter sized bed.) They also have verandahs with two easy chairs.

There are 4 large double rooms, each with two beds – these rooms face the main building and are ideal for those requiring family accommodation, as they have space for at least one extra bed. They have self-contained shower rooms. Travellers can park their vehicles immediately outside these rooms. There is 1 big, purpose designed, family room with two double beds and a double bunk bed. It has a spacious bathroom with separate shower.

The original building of Chanters Lodge houses 2 accommodation units. 1 large suite with two double beds, private bathroom with separate shower and a sitting room from which steps lead down to the poolside. Adjacent to the suite is another recently renovated double room (with one double bed) with private bathroom and separate shower.
