A family-operated bushcamp situated on the Western banks of the Kafue River.
After just a 5,5 hours drive from Lusaka you step into this enchanting retreat. You’ll find yourself immersed in the sights and sounds of nature, with the soothing melody of the river just a stone’s throw away.

1-2 people - 15m2 Double room with verandah, ensuite toilet, washing basin and an open air rain shower overlooking the Kafue River. The private veranda is an ideal place to unwind, read a book, or simply watch the wildlife that frequents the riverbanks. The room blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The exterior is constructed from sturdy, weathered timber, and the tent canvas walls provide a sense of rustic elegance. Upon entering the Kasa, you’ll be greeted by a cozy and tastefully designed interior. The interior is open and airy, thanks to the large windows that allow natural light to flood in during the day. The centerpiece of the chalet is a comfortable and luxurious Queen-sized bed, made with high quality Egyptian cotton sheets. The bed faces the river, ensuring that you wake up to the sunrise with the tranquil sound of flowing water in the background. It features a spacious rain shower with hot and cold running water and it combines privacy with a view over the river. All the amenities you need for a refreshing wash after a day of exploring the wilderness, are provided.

Kasabushi delights her guest with a gourmet experience during their stay. Best described as western fusion cuisine with some Zambian inspiration, all meals are prepared with quality fresh ingredients. A well selected lunch and dinner menu with a variety of meat, fresh fish and tasty vegetarian dishes is served. Homemade sourdough bread and freshly pressed juices are prepared for each breakfast. The ingredients are mostly sourced from local farmers and suppliers to support the local micro-economy and communities nearby. Special requirements and allergies can be catered for.
