Nkonkoni

Nkonkoni is a self-catering bush style camp situated close to the shores of Lake Jozini and a short drive to the Zimanga main gate. The chalets (7 in total) are spread apart in beautiful gardens with roaming warthogs and Nyala in abundance as well as two bird hides by a small dam. Each chalet is air-conditioned and has a terrace with an adjoining outside kitchen stocked with all the utensils, pots and pans that one would require. The chalets have en-suite facilities with twin basins and a bath as well as outdoor showers. There are plenty of power points around the rooms. Adjacent to each chalet is a private fenced boma with a braai (barbeque) for evening dining under the stars and around the fire. Firewood, charcoal and basic provisions are available at reception. For all other supplies, there is a reasonably sized and well-stocked supermarket in Mkuze which is a 20-minute drive from Nkonkoni.
