About Rukiya Safari Camp
Rukiya is an intimate camp nestled within the tranquil Wild Rivers Nature Reserve, right beside the iconic Greater Kruger. It is a haven beneath ancient riverine trees, gracing the banks of the Blyde River. The camp's low-impact design, crafted with environmentally friendly construction, invites you to experience nature in its purest form. Here, you can hear the gentle flow of the river and breathe in the earthy scents of the surroundings. Our light canvas tents, comprising four river-view tents and two bush-view tents, offer a perfect blend of comfort and connection with the natural world, while our River House provides an exclusive experience overlooking the Blyde River. Guests can also enjoy the communal lounge area, an indoor fireplace, a swimming pool, Wi-Fi internet access (6 Mbps), braai facilities, laundry amenities, a restaurant, and parking on the premises.

Rukiya River House
Rukiya River House is perfect for families and groups of 4 to 6 wanting a more exclusive safari experience, we can sleep an additional two people in the Lounge area on sleeper blocs.
The house has a private verandah with hot tub (Wood not included) overlooking the river and is located next to the main lodge area, guests can enjoy their own private house whilst still enjoying the lodge’s main facilities such as the pool area, sun loungers, bar, and dining experiences, subject to availability and additional charges.
