Ubuthongo means ‘sleep’ in Zulu and that is what we offer, peaceful sleep, hospitality with a professional approach and a ‘touch of Africa', and lots of smiles!
At Ubuthongo Guest House we offer 4 comfortable suites, a complete, delicious breakfast, an outside pool, a lounge area, free uncapped Wi-Fi and DSTV.
We offer luggage storage facilities and we have close contact with many tour agencies so all your tours can be arranged by us. Ubuthongo Guesthouse is situated in a very safe Estate, protected by electric fencing, security guards and thermal cameras.
The most important reason to enjoy our hospitality, is because we are 40 minutes from one the most important attraction in the world - The Kruger national Park! We are also on the Panoramic Route and 15 minutes from an international airport and on the Lowveld Panoramic Route. We are located 4 km from Whiteriver and 22Km from Nelspruit. Ubuthongo Guest House has a wide, open view – overlooking green hills, farm lands and the famous ‘Lion’s Head’.

Invathi / Buffalo Suite
This luxury suite has a Queen Size bed a small balcony. En-suite bathroom - shower and luxury bath with complimentary amenities. Free Wi-Fi and DSTV, multiple plugs with USB ports, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a safe, tea/coffee facilities, fridge.
Ibhubesi/ Lion Suite
A Luxury King Size / Twin, corner suite. Suite with a small balcony. It has an on-suite bathroom -shower and luxury bath with complimentary amenities. It has free Wi-Fi ,TV with DSTV, air con, safe, tea/coffee facilities, fridge.
Ingwe/ Leopard Suite
The Leopard suite is our sunny executive room with direct access to the pool and outside balcony furniture. A third single bed can be fitted in order to accommodate another guest. It has an en-suite bathroom. Wi-Fi, DSTV, tea/coffee facilities, fridge.
Ubhejane/ Rhino Suite
A luxury suite with a private entrance on the ground floor. This suite has a Queen size bed with parking at the door.
