Weltevrede Fig & Guest Farm

Located just 25km from the peaceful village of Prince Albert, Weltevrede Fig & Guest Farm offers comfortable accommodation Weltevrede Fig & Guest Farm just off the Garden Route. The properties offer self-catering guesthouses, in a valley at the foothills of the mighty Swartberg Mountains. All accommodations are fully equipped with paraffin lamps, gas stove, gas fridge and gas geysers. All linen and towels are provided, as well as firewood. Weltevrede is one of the first fig farms in South Africa. It started out as a fruit drying farm, drying peaches, apricots and figs. Today the property has over a thousand fig trees (one tree is over a hundred years old) and sells dry, fresh and bottled figs.
