About Die Letterhuis
Die Letterhuis is one of two accommodation options on the Farm Aswater situated on the R407 between Prince Albert and Klaarstroom in the Karoo. The other option is the "Ou Waenhuis".
The century old Karoo farm house, Die Letterhuis is a ' live-in ' piece of art-and so is its surrounds.The inside walls have been brush lettered in a uniquely designed alphabet and original calligraphic pieces are displayed on the walls. Crisp linen invites you to bed in summer and warm down duvets invite you to linger longer in winter. Die Letterhuis is situated between letter art installations in the Karoo landscape and along the breathtakingly beautiful riverside. In the Poplar woods you will find letters on tree barks, land art installations and hand carved stone- a retreat in many ways.
The Ou Waenhuis is the ideal option for families. It has a huge veranda with a built-in braai which has a beautiful view of the farmland and mountains. The Ou Waenhuis is 50m from the Farmstead.
Both offer easy access to the Labyrinth and the various hand carved stone and land-art walks on the farm.

Die Letterhuis
Die Letterhuis is a 'live-in' work of art. A small traditional Karoo home with three bedrooms; one queen size and two ¾ beds and two single beds. It has a sunny bathroom with a spacious shower.
Ou Waenhuis
Guarded by the homestead on the working farm Aswater. The Ou Waenhuis has two bedrooms; one with a double bed and two singe beds with an addition day-bed in the lounge
