Spitskop Nature Reserve

Spitskop Nature Reserve is a private game reserve 13km north of Upington offering 42 caravan sites with electricity and six self-catering chalets. The reserve is a popular stop-over if you are en route to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park which is about 240Km away.

The reserve offers three hiking trails of 5km, 7km and 12km, or a 37km route which you can drive in any kind of vehicle as the reserve has a good dirt road. There are lapas (thatched shelters) offering respite from the midday heat, and where you can stop and have a braai.
