River In a quiet corner of the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg World Heritage Park, with the cascading Umzimkulu river bounding one side and blue mountain sky the other, lie Birches and Willows cottages.
Designed to satisfy the needs of the most discerning traveller, Birches and Willows are luxuriously appointed and serviced daily to international standards. Set in a private garden on the six-hectare riverfront estate, the Birches and Willows combine luxurious country living with a host of outdoor adventures, self-drive activities and cultural pursuits.
Perfectly suited for the longer term visitor, Birches B&B is a luxury suite, offering accommodation for two adults and one child with an extra-length king size bed and a queen-sized sleeper couch with full en suite bath and shower facilities.
Willows is a cosy bedsit with a choice of kingsize or 2 adjoining single beds. The veranda overlooks the garden and barbecue area. Popular as a honeymoon suite, Willows offers the guest an open-plan, en suite bath and a separate shower and toilet.
The cottages are in comfortable walking distance of the Umzimkulu river, which forms a perimeter to the estate and a host of private and secluded decks.
