Ulusaba Rock Lodge

There are four Rock Cliff Rooms of approximately 70 sqm each

There are four adjoining Rock Cliff rooms, all south facing with views over the vast landscape. Rooms are spacious and offer en-suite bathrooms with spectacular views. Two of these rooms are built on split levels with a spiral staircase connecting the bedroom and bathroom.

All Rock Cliff Rooms have King Size beds (that can split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. All rooms supplied with bottled water, spray-on insect repellent, Africology toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Complimentary Wi-Fi Access is available

All rooms include tea and coffee-making facilities, snacks and a complimentary mini bar.

Each has a private terrace or balcony.

The Rock Suite is approximately 125sqm

A spacious two bedroom suite with living area, the master bedroom has a full en-suite and views over the bush, and the second queen bedded room a smaller en-suite bathroom (with a shower only).

The Rock Suite is our family suite and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years) sharing. Our rates include all Cubs Club activities; also refer to our Kids go Free offer for great family value!

The Rock Suite Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed (that can split into Twins). The second bedroom has a Queen Bed (that cannot split). The suite offers air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. All rooms supplied with bottled water, spray-on insect repellent, Africology toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Complimentary Wi-Fi Access is available

All rooms include tea and coffee-making facilities, snacks and a complimentary mini bar. The Rock Suite has a private balcony with doors leading out from both the Master Bedroom and lounge area.

The Master Suite is approximately 115 sqm

Built on 3 levels with beautiful views, an en-suite bathroom, and private balcony with infinity plunge pool. The living area features a telescope and iPod docking station.

The Master Suite has a King Size Bed (that cannot split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. All rooms supplied with bottled water, spray-on insect repellent, Africology toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Complimentary Wi-Fi Access is available

Each Makwela Suite is approximately 125sqm. The suites are called Makwela Dusk & Makwela Dawn

Built on 2 levels with private balconies, full en-suite bathrooms as well as outdoor showers, infinity plunge pool, fireplace, living area and separate study/library. Each has a separate day bed in the lounge/study suitable for children.

Each Makwela Suite has a King Size Bed (that can split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans, a fire place and mosquito nets. All rooms supplied with bottled water, spray-on insect repellent, Africology toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Complimentary Wi-Fi Access is available

Stay at Rock Lodge based on an exclusive buy-out. Rock Lodge has 10 rooms and suites and can accommodate up to 20 guests based in double occupancy rooms. Children of all ages are welcome at Rock Lodge

At Ulusaba dining is a very important part of your stay, and our chefs work hard from morning until night to provide the freshest and tastiest meals possible. All meals and drinks are included in your rates, and with at least six opportunities per day to eat, we promise you won’t go hungry!

Our internationally renowned chefs have developed numerous pan-African dishes influenced by many African cultures, flavours and spices. Our recipes are constantly refreshed and consist of seasonal, local ingredients.

Whether dining under the African sky, in the Boma, on a deck or in the dining room, our menus and meals promise to be exciting, social and inspirational. All our breads and pastries are home baked daily and we also cater for private meals and special occasions.
