Ulusaba is Sir Richard Branson's Private Game Reserve located in the Western sector of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve and forms part of Virgin Limited Edition.

Cliff Lodge is located a short walk from the Main House at Rock Lodge and features two magnificent suites offering guests the ultimate in safari luxury. Ideal for families and friends seeking an exclusive getaway, or couples wanting to enjoy those special occasions in pure privacy.

When booked exclusively, Cliff Lodge includes a private chef as well as your own game drive vehicle. Facilities also include a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gym and mini Aroma Boma Spa.

Ulusaba, meaning 'Place of Little Fear' strikes the perfect balance between nature and nurture - as well as being an excellent place to observe the 'Big Five', it is also an ideal place to kick back and unwind. Ulusaba re-defines the rules of a safari lodge and taken a step away from the traditional colonial style by offering swimming pools, gymnasiums, a wine cellar, Aroma Boma spas with panoramic views, a Bush Observatory perfect for star gazing and tennis courts. With all of these facilities, you really need to plan your days so you can enjoy safari walks, moon-lit bush dinners and of course, the twice daily game drives.

Cliff Lodge 1
Cliff Lodge 1 is approximately 330m² It is a spacious 2 bedroom suite with one large bedroom (with two small pull out beds) and a second smaller bedroom which can accommodate one adult or two small children. Features private swimming pool, private bar, iPod docking station, spa, gym, satellite TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, Wii and fireplace as well as an outdoor barbecue. Access via a raised walkway from the Main House. Cliff Lodge 1 has a King Size beds (that cannot split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. All rooms supplied with bottled water, spray-on insect repellent, Africology toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. When hiring Cliff Lodge Suites 1 and 2 exclusively rates include private game drive vehicle and chef. Available individually 4 months prior to guest arrival. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults and 2 children.
Cliff Lodge 2
Cliff Lodge 2 is approximately 120m² Cliff Lodge 2 is a spacious one bedroom suite with two small pull out beds that can accommodate two small children. Includes large lounge area with satellite TV, iPod docking station, complimentary Wi-Fi, fireplace and a Jacuzzi on the viewing deck. Access via a raised walkway from the Main House. Available individually 4 months prior to guest arrival. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children. Cliff Lodge 2 has a King Size beds (that cannot split into Twins), air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. Cliff Lodge
Cliff Lodge is the perfect space for family and friends to get together. Cliff Lodge when hired as a unit can accommodate up to 5 adults and 4 children, a total of 9 guests. Guests will also receive their own 4x4 vehicle with their own Ranger and Tracker and their own chef. Their is a small spa treatment room for spa treatments, a gym, swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

At Ulusaba dining is a very important part of your stay, and our chefs work hard from morning until night to provide the freshest and tastiest meals possible. All meals and drinks are included in your rates, and with at least six opportunities per day to eat, we promise you won’t go hungry! Our internationally renowned chefs have developed numerous pan-African dishes influenced by many African cultures, flavours and spices. Our recipes are constantly refreshed and consist of seasonal, local ingredients. Whether dining under the African sky, in the Boma, on a deck or in the dining room, our menus and meals promise to be exciting, social and inspirational. All our breads and pastries are home baked daily and we also cater for private meals and special occasions.
