About Oudekloof Wine Estate
Oudekloof Wine Estate, situated at the foot of the historic Oudekloof pass, has been cultivated for nearly 300 years and today produces award winning wines.
The farming philosophy is sensitive and sustainable; over half the estate's 340 hectares is set aside to protect indigenous wildlife, fynbos and renosterveld for future generations to enjoy.
To reach Oudekloof, you cross the Klein Berg river, creating a clear boundary between the pressures of city life and the splendid isolation of the farm. Arriving at the homestead, one gets a view not unlike the one that the early travelers saw as they came over Oudekloof Pass.
Just outside the door, adventure awaits – challenging hiking and mountain bike trails criss-cross the valley. There is endless exploring to be done on the routes once used by brave travelers.
For the not so brave we offer easy walks on the farm, bird watching, wine tasting and of course all the peace and tranquility nature has to offers.
