About Manley Wine Lodge

Just outside the historic, quaint town of Tulbagh, about one hour's drive from Cape Town, is where you’ll find lovely Manley Wine Lodge that combines the charm of a working wine farm, with the warm ambience of an inviting hotel. Seven spacious, luxury double rooms are wonderfully cosy and well-equipped, making your stay an effortless one. All are en-suite and most come with fireplaces to keep you extra toasty during the winter. There are also two luxury cottages. All the rooms are arranged around a shaded courtyard adjacent to the swimming pool. Enjoy delicious meals prepared using fresh, local produce in the 19th century thatched Manor House that reflects the French Huguenot homes of that time. Indulge in a glass (or bottle!) of one of the farm’s award-winning wines – the perfect accompaniment to the superb dishes served. The Tulbagh Valley is bursting with things to do and see, from mountain biking to hiking, olive tasting and more. The Valley is known for producing some of the best reds in the country so you’d be remiss not to do some wine tasting during your stay too. The farm is within close walking distance to the town centre, making it easy to explore all the little gems that give it its unique character. Dream weddings can also be held at Manley, with the consecrated chapel, Owl’s Nest reception hall and beautiful bridal suite offering the most romantic package. The cherry on top will be the breath-taking mountain backdrop which makes for gorgeous pictures. Manley is all about quality, warmth and good old-fashioned value – come and experience it for yourself in one of the Cape’s most gorgeous settings.
