About De Oude Herberg
De Oude Herberg Guest House is situated in Church Street, Tulbagh and has been providing bed and breakfast accommodation since 1885. Translated from Afrikaans as “The Old Inn”, De Oude Herberg Guest House has, over the years, won several awards and accolades. These include winning the prestigious AA Travel Accommodation Award, in the Heritage Accommodation category, two years in succession.

Ruby is situated in the main house with an entrance off the main hall and another from the front terrace.It is decorated in 'neo classic' style. The room has a king size sleigh bed. The bathroom has a Victorian bath with an overhead shower.
Sapphire
Also in the main house is Sapphire, consisting of two rooms and decorated in traditional English style. One room has a queen size bed and the other a single bed. Both rooms share the same bathroom, which has a Victorian bath and overhead shower.
Emerald
Emerald is twin bedded, In addition to the communal sitting area, there is a sitting area outside in a small private garden, close to the pool.
Amber
Amber has a King Size bed, In addition to the communal sitting area, there is a sitting area outside in a small private garden, close to the pool.
