About Freedom O Clock Backpackers Retreat
This small, rustic, eco-minded family-run spot lies on the eastern side of the Mdumbi River mouth in a very rural and remote village called Mngcibe. Wake up to mind-blowing views of the ocean, beach, rare mangroves and forest-lined river.
Kitchen is communal (makes for social evenings). Our self catered kitchen, with fridge/freezer, gas stove, and the usual kitchen goodies offers limited space for breakfasts and lunches only.
We serve delicious home cooked breakfasts, lunches and house dinners daily and we are 420 friendly.

Surf - Double Room
This is one of 3 rooms in a L-shaped building which offers the best views of the ocean, beach and river. Rooms are private and have sliding doors out onto a sundeck. The SURF room is a double room and consists of a double bed and packing space.
Mush Room - Dorm / Family
The MUSHROOM is a dorm/family hut and consists of a double bed and 3 single beds with amazing river views.
Fish Room - Family Room
This is one of 3 rooms in a L-shaped which offers insane views of the ocean, beach and river. All rooms are private and have sliding doors out onto a sundeck. The FISH room is a family room and consists of a double bed and double bunk with VIEWS!
Relax Room
