About West Coast Luxury Tents
There are three luxury tents each with a private en-suite bathroom. Fully equipped with fridge, stove and catering utensils. Small kitchenette and a private "braaiplek" for each tent. All tents sleep a maximum of two people, 2 of the tents feature a double bed and the third has two single beds.
These tents are located in the bush behind a sand dune, 500 meters walk from to a 40 km long unspoiled sandy beach. The beach is also accessible with a 4x4 vehicle. This facility is on a private beach front farm with no access for the public.There is also a 400 meters long private airstrip on the farm that can be used by light aircraft prior to arrangement.
The farm is halfway between Dwarskersbos and Elandsbay and the nearby Verloren Vlei area is known for it's birdlife. On the beach you will find numerous breeding pairs of Black Oyster Catchers (Tobie) and their nests specially during the summer months. Elandsbay is also known for it's abundance of crayfish during the crayfish catching season.
The beach offers the most spectacular seaside sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean and no two sunsets look the same.
