About Nader Gastehuis
As the children moved out of the house, the rooms were transformed into beautiful guest rooms. We also later built a log house unit and rented it out. Requests were made and we decided that not all accommodation on the farm should look alike – we want it to be interesting for the guests who spend the night.
We then built a house in a pure West Coast style and later also built huts (the Tokolosh kraal) that one can find in Africa. Guests have a lovely time around the bonfire made in the middle of the 6 huts.
Demands for self-catering were high, so we added two outside kitchens for the convenience of our guests.
In-between weddings, conferences and other functions we stay busy. Our latest addition to the accommodation is the train wagon. It is well-suited for families and/or contractors – it has its own toilet facilities and a large kitchen with many braai facilities.
On the terrain you can meet our large range of farm animals, as well as visit our organic vegetable garden, from which we cook our delicious meals. A large variety of exotic birds and different types of chickens will also give you a warm welcome.
We are currently working on other activities that will add to the relaxation you can experience on our farm.
In the the heart of the bush veld you will experience peace and tranquility and enjoy fresh farm food.
