Sutherland Hotel

The beautiful clean champagne air of the high Karoo is an exceptional experience, especially during the night when the awesome milky way unfolds itself. The stars are very clearly visible and is also the main reason why SALT (Southern Africa Large Telescope) are built in this area.

The Sutherland hotel offers 23 comfortable luxury accommodation units. A variety of en-suite rooms are available. The original structure is over 100 years old and can accommodate up to 60 people. All rooms are en-suite and are equipped with wall heaters and electric blankets. A nice swimming pool for those hot days.
