About The Kraal Addo Country Estate

The Kraal Addo is situated just 15 km from the main gate of the word famous Addo Elephant National Park. This now-fully restored hotel built in 1844 retains its colonial charm and acts as a gateway to the National Park.

Each unit at The Kraal Addo is fully Air Conditioned and the modern bathrooms are equipped with spacious showers and free WiFi in all of the rooms.

A full English or continental breakfast is included in our hotel rooms, served in the dining room every morning, while the pub is a frequent favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike in the afternoon.

Besides our Luxury Rooms, Self catering and Cosy Rooms, The Kraal also has three mixed dorm rooms. This is a shared room comprising of four single beds with a shared bathroom and small fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast can also be added for an additional cost.

Guests can spend their free time relaxing in our comfortable TV room, exploring our beautiful wild flower gardens before refreshing themselves with a swim in our outdoor pool.

The Kraal Addo also offers a shuttle services at a surcharge to and from Port Elizabeth International Airport which is 58 km away, while Grahamstown is within a 1 hour, 30 minutes’ drive of the property.

Luxury Room: With extra-large King bed. Bathroom with shower. Kettle, air-conditioner and TV. These luxurious rooms are perfect for honeymoon bliss or anyone that requires a bit of privacy. Private minibar can be stocked upon request.
Dorm Rooms
You will be sharing a 4 bed Dormitory apartment situated on the hotel grounds with a basic self contained kitchen with basic kitchen utensils. Shared bathroom. You will have access to all the hotels facilities. Breakfast can be arranged at R 75 pp
Cozy Plus Room
These rooms can be set up as a double or twin. Comes standard with air conditioning, en-suite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities. These rooms include breakfast in the rate, and can either be twin or double.
Family Room
This bedroom consists of 2 x twin beds and 1x king size bed. The room is perfect for families. Breakfast is included in the unit rate.
Self catering - Room
These semi self catering rooms are detached from main hotel, and only have basic kitchen facilities. These rooms can either be twin or double. Guests will have access to all the hotels facilities. Breakfast included at an additional R 75.00 pp
