About Addo Bush Palace
Addo Bush Palace is a Private Nature Reserve located in the spectacular Valley of Kromrivier, bordering the Addo Elephant National Park.
We offer a Guided Safari bush walk, where you will gain a true perspective on the South African fauna and flora, at no additional cost. You can see our own zebra, giraffe, kudu, warthog, impala, baboon, jackals and incredible birdlife. Our guests can also experience a unique traditional Xhosa Cultural Village experience, at no additional cost.
Addo Bush Palace is ideal for families and couples seeking a real African bush experience in a tranquil, secure, romantic and exclusive getaway.
We have a total of 25 Rooms comprising of 19 rooms with en-suite bathrooms distributed among 4 lodges with exteriors that are inspired by the Ndebele Tribe artwork and carefully decorated with high standard colonial antiques. In-room facilities include tea and coffee making facilities and fresh linen. We also have 3 Bush Huts and 3 Mud Huts, which are eco- friendly, self-catering units situated 500m from our Main Lodge with spectacular valley views.
Breakfast is included and lunch and dinner are available on request.
We can arrange all your excursions in the area, including Big 5 game drives.

Main Lodge - Queen Room
Our rooms at Addo Palace have an African theme and feel and allow you to feel like you are really experiencing Africa at its best. Queen size beds with en-suite bathroom. Our Main Lodge incorpartes our dining and communal area, including indoor and outdoor fireplaces and large outside patio areas or relax around the swimming pool and view the spectacular African sunsets.
Zebra Lodge - Queen Room
The Zebra Lodge offers 4 en-suite rooms with Queen size beds. We also offer a Family room in this lodge, comprising of a double bed and two bunk beds for the kids.Situated close to the main lodge, dining area and swimming pool.
Kudu Lodge - Queen Room
Kudu Lodge has 3 rooms with Queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms with magnificient views of our valley and wildlife watering hole.Also situated close to the main lodge.
Giraffe Lodge Queen Bed
Our rooms at Addo Palace have an African theme and feel and allow you to feel like you are really experiencing Africa at its best. Queen size beds with en-suite bathroom. Our Giraffe Lodge is quite special, situated about 300metres from our Main Lodges, as our Waterbuck often spend the night around the Lodge. Ideal for groups who are looking for privacy away from the main lodge areas. This lodge also has an outdoor Boma/braai area.
Our Giraffe lodge is made up of 5 ensuite rooms including the family room.
Giraffe Lodge Room (Family Room)
Our family room comprises of a double bed and 2 bunk beds for the kids with en-suite.
Addo Mud & Bush Huts
Each hut has an en-suite bathroom and open plan bedroom/dining area, and basicself catering facilities There is also a communal boma/braai area. Our bush and mud huts are situated on a hill with spectacular valley views. Kindly note our mud and bush huts are eco-friendly and there is no electricity, only solar power.
