About Floreat Riverside Lodge
The Floreat Riverside Lodge has a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere and is situated in the small town of Sabie in Mpumalanga Province.
We are only about 50 KM from the Kruger National Park, and 61 KM from Nelspruit, making us barely an hour’s drive away from the Mbombela Stadium.
With a wide variety of rooms, we can provide comfortable or luxurious rooms, depending on your requirements. All bathrooms are en-suite, while the rooms all have televisions, desks, telephones, clock radios, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Unwind in the plush, comfortable Lounge Bar, or enjoy a drink before dinner on the terrace beside the restaurant. Our Restaurant offers local and international cuisine, as both a Set menu or an A La Cart menu. For the sport fanatics, enjoy a game of pool or watch the big screen in Tommy’s family bar alongside the river.
Our private and tranquil retreat offers a Sauna and a Jacuzzi Spa, as well as a wide variety of treatments to choose from.

Basic Budget Double Room
A basic room with a double size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower/bath. No coffee/ tea maker. A TV with local channels is available in the room.
Basic Budget Twin Room
A basic room, with 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a shower/bath. No coffee/tea-making facilities. TV with local channels. Non-smoking room.
Executive Suite
The bedroom has a queen-size bed, and French doors give access to the private little balcony. The large en-suite bathroom has a shower/bath. Coffee/tea-making facilities. Free parking is available.
Large Honeymoon Suite
This luxurious suite has a 4-poster king-size bed. The bathroom has a free-standing bath and a separate shower and his and her basins. The large bedroom has a small lounge area, and French doors leading out on its private balcony.
Self-catering Open Plan Room
A self-contained unit, with a kitchenette area with all of the amenities needed. The bedroom has a double bed and the en-suite bathroom has a corner bath/shower combination unit. The deck area has a braai available.
6 Sleeper Self Catering Chalet
A Large self-contained unit, with a fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and crockey.The main bedroom has a double size bed, and the bathroom has a free standing bath and seperate shower.The lounge area can be converted into a second bedroom with singles.
Executive Family Suite
2 bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed, and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. Suitable for families with up to 3 children. A cot can be added for a baby. Tea/coffee facilities. On-site parking.
Luxury Room
Small, yet spacious, the honeymoon suite has a 4-poster king-size bed. En-suite bathroom with a separate shower and a with a victorian bath and his and her basins. French doors lead to a private balcony. A TV and tea and coffee station is available.
4 Sleeper Self-catering
These boldly decorated self catering chalets are situated along side the river (on request) with a beautiful view of the mountains. Each unit consists of a lounge area with a plasma screen TV and an open plan kitchen. Can accommodate up to 4 people.
Superior Double Rooms
Furnished with double beds the rooms have en-suite shower/bath, some are interleading; ideal for groups. Tea and coffee facilities and TV with selected channels is available. The room does not have a fridge, cooking, braai or self-catering facilities.
