Though not deep, their positioning offers protection from the elements, making them a practical stop for those tackling the Amphitheatre hike or heading towards the Tugela Falls. Access is via the chain ladders near the QwaQwa border post, and the caves operate on a first-come, first-served basis. With no facilities, limited water sources, and basic sleeping space for up to four people per cave, this is a true back-to-nature experience.
