Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm is an ideal getaway at any time of year, whether in the warmth of summer or the occasional snow of winter. The farm is set in a valley that speaks to your senses, against the unique landscape of succulents and renosterbos, bordered by breath-taking mountains of the Klein Karoo.
Accommodation Options
De Kraal
De Kraal is situated within an original old stone kraal from years gone by. With a beautiful design in stone and glass, this luxury two bedroom house offers the best of old and new. (Sleeps 4, bedding is provided) For extra beds, contact us to arrange.
Campsites
We also have campsites available where you are able to come and pitch your tent or caravan. There is a shared outside ablution.
Remote Campsites
We also have campsites available where you are able to come and pitch your tent or caravan. These are bigger sites and there there is a shared outside ablution.
Chalets with En-suite bathroom
Chalets 1 and 2 are two self-catering units that sleeps up to 4 people each. The cottages are equipped with a double bed and bunk bed per unit. The cottages offer most modern amenities, including a microwave, refrigerator, a small oven and cutlery.
Chalets with Shared bathroom
Chalets 3 to 6 are four self-catering units that sleeps up to 4 people each. The cottages are equipped with two single beds and a bunk bed per unit. Chalets 3 to 6 share an outside ablution block.
De Oude Opstal
De Oude Opstal has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 6 people. ( Extra beds/mattresses can be arranged.). De Oude Opstal features a huge farm-style kitchen with a braai. To arrange for an extra bed or two, please contact us.
On-site Caravans
We also have 2 on-site caravans that are fully equipped. The caravans share outside ablution.
Bungalow
A snug single-roomed bungalow features a sleeper couch and one bunk bed with a small kitchenette. The adjacent braai and deck stretch out over the water and enable you to fish from there. Guests need to bring their own bedding and towels.
Bergzicht Cottage
Bergzicht Cottage has one bedroom (double bed) and a spacious open plan kitchen and living area with a fireplace. The sleeper couch in the living room can accommodate two children.
Dalzicht
The cottage is self-catering and can sleep up to 4 people. It has a double bed and bunk bed and a large open plan kitchen and living room which opens onto a private stoep with a built-in braai. Bedding is provided.
De Wilgers
De Wilgers is a renovated farm labourer’s cottage on the edge of the Camp Site. It is a self-catering unit that sleeps up to 6 people. An attached lapa is available for outdoor catering. The cottage offers most modern amenities, including electricity.
