Blue Hill Escape offer self-catering accommodation on Blue Hill Nature Reserve, a CapeNature stewardship site on the very scenic south-western boundary of the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area. We offer an affordable wilderness experience in the Kouga mountains - the heart of the Cape fold mountains. Come walk the hills where leopards and baboons roam wild and see the magical fynbos in flower! Visit us to enjoy days of tranquillity in a malaria free part of South Africa. Your visit will help us protect and preserve an area of outstanding natural beauty. Note: no wifi, tv or cell phone reception.

This thatched self-contained flat offers private accommodation with a view north towards the Swartberg mountains. The double bedroom is large and bright. Open lounge area and kitchen. A second room has a bunk bed. Stair access.
Baviaans cottage
Baviaans Cottage is perfect for those who want to get away from it all. No electricity: gas lamps, candles and stars light up the darkness. Gas stove, fridge, and geyser. Double bed with spare bed in the lounge.
Kammanassie
An open plan room with 4 cubicle bedrooms, each with a single bed, sharing 1 bathroom with toilet and shower. Open plan kitchen and living area. No frills accommodation suitable for those on a budget. Access via a stairwell.
