Edward House

Pretoria, South Africa

About Edward House

Edward House is a fine example of the Edwardian style of domestic architecture in South Africa. The guest house stands in the leafy streets of Waterkloof, overlooking the fairways of the Pretoria Country Club golf course. Often used for romantic bridal photos, the garden is lush, shady and filled with azaleas, camellias, roses, tree ferns and elephant ears.

Inside, the guest accommodation features large rooms with french doors leading out on to spacious covered verandas, offering the visitor a serene experience that is hard to duplicate in more modern settings. Rooms feature air conditioning, a desk, free internet, a safe, minibar, hairdryer, and coffee/tea making facilities.
