About Halyards Hotel & Spa
The Halyards Hotel & Spa is situated on the Royal Alfred Marina in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape.
The hotel's waterfront location allows it to boast with pretty, panoramic views of the Kowie River.
Owing to this prime positioning, the Halyards is a popular venue for events such as weddings and year end functions. The Halyards also offers facilities for small and large conferences.

Our 49 rooms are comfortably furnished to suit singles, couples, families, and corporate guests.
Expect good food and friendly service. The Wheelhouse Bar & Pooldeck is favoured by in-house guests and public patrons. The Pooldeck, with swimming pool and jacuzzi, is a lovely space for casual, outdoor dining. The Charthouse Restaurant, that seats up to 220 guests, is reserved for more structured dining, such as the hotel’s traditional Sunday Lunch Buffet, served every Sunday.
Activities include guided boat cruises and spa treatments. Halyards is home to the biggest commercial barge in Port Alfred and surrounds, The Spirit of Adventure. The Spirit of Adventure is also available as a moving venue for private and corporate functions. The River Spa is conveniently situated on-site. They offer a variety of treatments but specialise in massage
