Staying at Lairds Lodge Country Estate

"On arrival we were met promptly by staff who whisked us through our allocated room in no time at all. The room was spacious & the facilities adequate for our needs The evening talks were interesting - one related to wine & the other a demo by the chef who had our mouths watering at the thought of tasting the food that was prepared. The guests were talkative & we had interesting at length conversations whilst sitting around the main central table. The food was always of a high quality & presented to the table in a simple decorated eye catching manner. The portions were just correct in size . Breakfast was also very well presented with an adequate choice of food to start the day on The staff were always cheery & ever so helpful in attending to our needs. I would recommend Lairds who wants a quiet relaxing time out in the countryside"
