Just 18km from Plettenberg Bay lies a private nature reserve with abundant birdlife and breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and Tsitsikamma mountains. This is the magical setting of Hog Hollow – renowned for its outstanding cuisine, creative style and personalised, friendly service. The Villa is a stylish three-bedroomed private house, 400m from the Lodge and perfect for families. 16 unique African-styled suites in the gardens, feature private wooden decks, king-size beds and, in most cases, fireplaces. Superb breakfasts are served on the upper deck and dinners are in the candlelit main house. Pool, sauna, massages, horse riding and walking trails are offered on site, while elephant and cheetah encounters and whale and dolphin trips can be arranged nearby. 4-Star Lodge.

Suite
Situated in the lush gardens surrounding the main lodge. Double or twin bedded, with en-suite bathrooms (separate bath & showers) lounge area and a private wooden deck. A cosy fireplace, mini-bar, wi-fi, tea & coffee station, delicious cookies and popcorn and aircon.
Loft Suite
Double storey accommodation. Situated in the lush gardens surrounding the main lodge. Double or twin bedded, with en-suite bathrooms (separate bath & showers) lounge area and a private wooden decks on the upper and lower levels.
These suites can also be used for for families travelling and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and under sharing accommodation. Parents are accommodated upstairs in the master bedroom (with en-suite bathroom), while the children are accommodated downstairs in the lounge area. In the evening the double sleeper couch and an ottoman, which is shorter than a single bed, are made up for the children.
The family would share the same bathroom facilities upstairs.
No fireplaces in these suites as a precaution for when children are accommodated there.

Set on the edge of indigenous forest, with breathtaking views of the valleys and Tsitsikamma Mountains. Enjoy outstanding cuisine, stylish accommodation, panoramic views and friendly hospitality. Sixteen unique African-styled suites situated in the lush gardens around the main house, offer private wooden decks, hammocks, king sized beds & most have cosy fireplaces.
Mouth watering breakfasts are served out on the boma deck, while scrumptious communal dinners are served in the conviviality of the main house.

Hog Hollow dining caters for in-house guests only.
The choice of dining around the communal candle-lit main table, or to be seated separately, or even outside on a balmy African evening, is yours.
We offer an optional set three course dinner each evening. There is always a choice of starter and main courses, a vegetarian menu, and the chefs can cater for almost all dietary requirements: wheat intolerance, diabetic diets, vegans, etc.
Our kitchen is not Kosher or Halaal, but we have successfully accommodated these specific dietary requirements. We do, obviously need to know these requirements in advance.
We also offer a range of children-friendly dishes.
Light lunches are served on request too.
For those opting to eat out, we assist our guests to make reservations at the variety of restaurants in and around the area.
