About Kingly Explorer Camp
Kingly Explorer Camp is a charming and rustic camp situated in the Big 5 GDP reserve in the Greater Kruger. Kingly is renowned for being an authentic Kruger camp, where the focus is on warm hospitality and exceptional game viewing opportunities.
The intimate camp features 4 Meru-style tents joined to the central area by raised rustic wooden walkways. Each sturdy tent is built on a raised platform with a private balcony. Private en-suite bathrooms are open-air and have an outdoor shower and washbasin. Each tent is carpeted for warmth and has a twin bed set-up complete with bedside tables and modern rugs for a touch of elegance.
The main area of the campsite houses a swimming pool surrounded by a seating area. An intimate dining area flows effortlessly into a seating area, complete with a rustic bar set-up. Guests can enjoy these small relaxation spaces, read a book, or connect over a gin and tonic.
Activities include daily game drives, a boat cruise and game drive (extra cost), and guided walks in the reserve. Bush walks generally need to be arranged beforehand.
