The family suite was very comfortable. A lovely place to visit if you are seeking tranquility. "We stayed once again at this lodge and felt very welcome, although our previous stay dated from two years back. This place really deserves a 5 star rating. Nice little touches in the room (candy, free pen, soft drink etc.) add to this feeling of well being. As does the excellent service during dinner and breakfast. The entire place is spacious, well maintained and run by a very friendly and helpful staff. We were glad we could finish our 6th stay in South-Africa in this lodge with its magnificent views."

"Lived up to its reputation in all aspects: accomodations are clean and comfortable with useful amenities such as a gas fire place and underfloor heating in the bedroom. Meals were very good, especially dinner. We enjoyed the friendly staff and activities such as guided hikes. The view of the Drakensberg from the Lodge are stunning."
